Shayne was born and raised in the Two Hills area and grew up working on the family farm. Shayne works as an advocate for taxpayers, and has fought to clean up our tax system to keep more of Albertans’ hard-earned money in their pockets.

Shayne practices law throughout Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Elk Point, and the Two Hills area. Shayne still calls Two Hills home. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta. In July 2010, Shayne was named one of "The Next 10" by Alberta Venture magazine, in their list of the 50 most influential people in the province.
